Sports Physiotherapy

If you play sports, you know how important it is to feel good in order to perform at your best. Sports physiotherapy focuses on preventing, treating and recovering from injuries related to physical activity, both in professional athletes and active people who train for health, aesthetics or well-being.

I see patients in San Pedro del Pinatar (Lo Pagán), Pilar de la Horadada and Torrevieja.

When an injury occurs—such as tendinopathy, sprains, strains, muscle tears, or other ailments—the goal is not only to relieve pain, but also to restore function, improve the quality of movement, and return to sports safely, avoiding relapses.

In this space, we work with you from day one to help you regain mobility, strength, stability, and, above all, real functionality. It's not just about relieving pain, but about getting back to your previous level and surpassing where you were before your injury.

I combine manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and specific progressions tailored to your sport or daily activity, as well as complementary techniques when your process requires it.

Each session is focused on making progress, adapting to how you feel and helping you understand your injury so that you don't go through the same thing again.

It can help you if:

• You have suffered a recent injury (sprain, muscle tear, tendinopathy, strain, etc.).

• You are returning to training and need to regain strength and control.

• You feel instability, discomfort or fear of moving after an injury.

• You are undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation.

• You train regularly and want to prevent injuries or improve your performance.

• You have pain that slows you down in your daily life: back, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, etc.

Here we work with a progressive and highly personalised approach: every exercise has a purpose and every session brings you closer to your best self.

In certain cases and phases, it will be necessary to have sufficient space to work on movement safely and effectively.

In these cases, part or all of the treatment would take place at the Pilar de la Horadada facility (Extreme Adrenalin MMA Training Club), where we have more space to carry out work focused on explosive strength, jumping, balance, coordination, advanced phases of rehabilitation and sports readaptation, etc.

The treatment is the same: personalised, guided and adapted to each person and their stage in the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it only for professional athletes?

No. This approach is designed for active people, whether they train competitively or not, who want to get back to moving safely after an injury or strain.

What if I don't play sports, but I've been injured?

It's for you too. Rehabilitation is not just about getting back to training, but about regaining movement, strength and confidence in your daily life.

When can I start training again?

It depends on the case. The goal is not to take risks, but to return at the right time and with greater safety.

Is it only exercise?

The work is mainly active, but different tools are used when they add value to the process.

What if I've had the injury for a long time?

That's fine. The approach is also adapted to injuries that have not healed well or have become chronic.
